Appearance: Lulu is fairly tall and has a medium build. Her shoulder length hair is dark brown, and wavy. She is Caucasian, but her pale skin has a slight purple tinge. Her eyes are bright blue. Lulu has six pink-purple tentacles on her back, three along each side of her spine. She isn't very intimidating because of her happy face. She wears athletic shorts and baggy t-shirts in summer, and thick pants and wool sweaters in winter. She has to make sure whatever she wears protects her sensitive tentacles, and wears a bathing suit under everything.

Personality: Accepting, friendly, dreamy, timid. Lulu is a very relaxed and kind person. No matter who you are, she will give you a chance. She doesn't get stressed or worked up over things. She doesn't like arguments and will back down from any confrontation. She isn't stupid, though. If someone can't be trusted, she won't trust them. The only people she truly hates no matter who they are, are whitecoats, for obvious reasons.

Powers: Lulu has six tentacles coming out of her back. If someone touches any of them, or her arms, they will be stung. The venom is very painful, and won't stop hurting unless a cure is used.

Lulu is bioluminescent. She can concentrate it in her hands for bright light, or spread it around her body for a dimmer light. She uses this to blind enemies or brighten up dark areas.

She can see very well and breathe underwater with gills.

Her body is also very flexible, and resistant to water pressure, making deep dives easy.

Weaknesses: Her tentacles are very weak and Lulu can't use above water.

Also, her body produces venom slowly, so she doesn't have an endless supply.

She can see underwater exceptionally well, but her vision above land is how humans see underwater; blurry and without much colour.

Her bones are fragile, and will break after a strong hit.


History: When she was five years old, Natalie was kidnapped from the park near her home. She was taken to a lab in St. Pettersberg, Florida and, after a month of tests, was given the DNA of pelagia noctulica, a very venomous jellyfish. The change was very painful, as the venom was produced in her body before she became immune to it. Most whitecoats were ready to give up on her because of how weak she was. Then, after a week of changing, the process was complete, and the pain stopped. The whitecoats were very excited, and decided to train her for combat. They realized, however, that her tentacles couldn't be used above water. They also realized her bones broke easily. She was given steroids, but they interfered with her venom, making it almost painless. For three years, she was a sort of puzzle as they tried to figure out how to use her skills above water. Eventually they decided to simply use her as an underwater tracker for escapees. She was kept in a small tank of water and was taken to a larger one for tests and training. But every day, Natalie loosened the filter on the drain so she could swim out. This took her over a month. Her timing was perfect, as the whitecoats were planning to get rid of her. She pulled the filter off, and swam into the ocean. She then swam around until she found a nice coral reef with lots of fish. It was close enough to land to make a good food source, as well as hiding place. She named herself Lulu when some people visited the water where she lived. One of the women was named Lulu, and Natalie took a liking to the name. When she was twelve, she decided to move from the ocean and travel above land to get used to it. It was difficult to function with her bad eyesight, but not impossible. Eventually she stumbled across the camp.

Extras: Lulu is really good at remembering faces, but she often forgets names.
One of Lulu's most prominent memories is when she was four, when she bit into an apple and one of her teeth came out. Now she's scared to eat apples, and will kindly refuse any offers for them.
